<< Background >>The mission of participating organizations operating in rural peripheral areas is to ensure social inclusion, primarily of vulnerable groups, and to influence the sustainable development of remote areas. Based on a joint needs analysis, we have formed a common partnership aimed at addressing the key needs of target groups and enhancing the quality of work in organizations. Through international cooperation, we aimed to strengthen mutual trust, elevate the level of work with rural populations, and provide quality educational programs in rural areas. The key needs of the target groups included a low level of social inclusion, a lack of digital skills linking them to the world, and a lack of knowledge regarding environmental protection and health. To prevent the social exclusion of this vulnerable rural population and ensure the sustainable development of border areas, it is essential to establish and ensure the long-term provision of social welfare, educational, cultural, and other programs, as well as their intercultural connection at the international level. We aimed to provide high-quality learning programs tailored to their needs to acquire significant new knowledge necessary for daily functioning in a rapidly changing society.<< Objectives >>We aimed to: provide high-quality learning opportunities for adults in remote rural areas tailored to their needs; improve the competencies of partner staff; strengthen European cooperation and bring a European dimension to remote rural areas; identify specific needs in the areas of digital technology, culture, coexistence, environmental protection, and health. Through the implementation of 24 workshops, we aimed to involve at least 15 participants per workshop and connect adults in remote rural areas through educational and cultural activities via four international events. On a long-term basis, we aimed to sustainably enhance the quality of work of partner organizations by designing learning programs, improve the competencies of adult education staff, and establish and maintain long-term international partnerships in adult education.<< Implementation >>1.Leadership and coordination: We ensured communication and coordination among partners, reviewed the achievement of project objectives, appropriately documented project progress, and evaluated the implementation. 2.Needs analysis for adult education: We organized a roundtable with representatives of partner organizations and target groups, developed methodology - questionnaires for the target group, conducted data collection and analysis and created a detailed education plan. 3.Staff training: We developed and implemented a training program and created a training manual for staff. 4.Training for target group individuals in the field of digital technology: We conducted workshops and international online meetings. 5.Training for target group individuals in the field of culture and coexistence: We conducted workshops and international events. 6.Training for target group individuals in the field of environmental protection and health: We conducted workshops and international meetings. 7.Evaluation: We conducted interim and final evaluations.8.Collaboration with the local community and dissemination: We conducted project presentations in the local community, carried out posts on social media, media coverage, promotional videos.<< Results >>We produced reports of the board meetings and project reports, developed frameworks for identifying specific needs of target groups for education across different areas using a common method for needs assessment.
