<< Background >>We applied for this project to address the urgent need for fostering intercultural competence, enhancing civic engagement, and developing digital literacy among students. The project addressed several key needs crucial in today’s interconnected, multicultural, and digitalized world: 1. Intercultural Competence Development Students often lack the skills to communicate and adapt in diverse environments. The project aimed to promote understanding, tolerance, and empathy, overcoming prejudices and fostering cultural harmony. 2. Adaptation to Globalization: Globalization has made cultural adaptation essential. The project provided opportunities for students to experience different cultures firsthand and view diversity as a unifying strength. 3. Building Cultural Harmony: Modern societies need individuals who value differences while finding common ground. The project fostered respect for varied lifestyles, values, and perspectives. 4. Psychological and Sociocultural Adaptation: Students needed support in developing emotional and behavioral skills for smoother integration into multicultural settings. 5. Digital Skills and Citizenship: Digitalization requires students to use technology effectively for intercultural communication.<< Objectives >>By implementing this project, we aimed to enhance participants' intercultural competence, fostering awareness and appreciation of cultural differences while promoting European citizenship and values. Through creative drama activities, the project sought to help participants explore their own cultural identity, develop empathy, and adopt a balanced, tolerant attitude toward differences and conflict. Participants were encouraged to communicate and interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds, understand others' perspectives, and recognize cultural diversity as a shared heritage to protect and pass on to future generations. These activities aimed to nurture emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and the ability to empathize, laying the foundation for harmonious coexistence in a multicultural world. Additionally, we sought to develop participants' digital skills and motivate them to learn foreign languages, using engaging methods that promote active participation. The ultimate goal was to equip participants with the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to become inclusive, active digital citizens while creating a guidebook to disseminate these practices.<< Implementation >>We implemented several key activities to promote intercultural competence and digital skills:1. Creative Drama Modules: explored cultural similarities and differences through museum visits, fostering an understanding of shared social values, used food culture to express emotions, reduce prejudice, and understand diverse cultures, focused on conflict resolution through traditional games and sports, highlighting the cultural significance of these activities, promoted tolerance and empathy through music and dance, encouraging cultural understanding, used street culture to develop empathy and tolerance for ambiguity, exploring modern cultural expressions.2. Digital Engagement: Ss created digital content (posters, videos) using Web 2.0 tools, reflecting on cultural experiences, our eTwinning project connected schools virtually, enabling distant participants to engage, pre- and post-activity evaluations were conducted using GForms to measure intercultural competence development.3. Cross-Border Mobilities: Ss and Ts engaged in international exchanges, immersing themselves in hands-on cultural experiences.4. Guidebook: an ebook was produced, incorporating drama activities to enhance cognitive, emotional, and behavioral skills. << Results >>1. Ebook on Intercultural Competence: - A comprehensive guidebook, containing five modules based on creative drama applications, focuses on improving cognitive, emotional, and behavioral skills to foster intercultural competence. The guidebook serves as a valuable resource for educators and can be used to implement intercultural learning activities in schools. 2.
