Scientific Digitarium ? Visitor?s Centre

The main objective of the ?Scientific Digitarium ? Visitor?s Centre? Project is to create a visitor?s centre equipped with a unique audiovisual instrument for popularization and promotion of natural sciences especially astronomy and related branches of inanimate nature (e.g. mathematics, physics, chemistry, geology and climatology), which will become an attractive destination for people interested in intelligent entertainment and enlightenment in the South Moravian Region. Its meaning will not be to instruct, but positively motivate, inspire and show that natural sciences are both interesting and very important for the mankind. The visitors will be actively challenged to observe real nature, will be made acquainted with the latest scientific findings and informed about the ongoing scientific projects in the region. And it will not be only the presentations of scientific branches and their findings, but also technical applications and immediate impacts of modern scientific approach findings upon everyday lives of ordinary people. The Visitor?s Centre will also be used for other special programmes, cultural events, as well as presentations of academic and university workplaces.
