Congenital heart diseases (CHD) occur in 7 to 8 per 1000 live births. Half of the neonatal mortality can be attributed to a congenital heart malformation. We believe that better prenatal detection of CHD will allow for potential life-saving interventions at birth, and that fetal cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) can offer new clinical possibilities for a better depiction of fetal cardiac structures. The main objective of this project is to propose a new pipeline for the imaging of fetal cardiac structures by MRI. This project will be achieved with two sub-objectives (i) Extraction of fetal ECG from abdominal recordings in the MRI. (ii) Development of new MRI acquisition strategy accounting for fetal heart motion.
