ReaCh

Reaction-diffusion equations, or systems, are ubiquitous models in all fields of fundamental and applied sciences. Their range of applicability has increased with their complexity, thus bringing to light original questions. The project proposes new mathematical developments in the theory of reaction-diffusion front propagation. Theoretical developments lay the emphasis on the study of models in non-traditional media, and on unconventional systems. In parallel to these investigations, the project proposes to use the concepts that it will develop in the exploration of novel questions in epidemiology and differents fields of social sciences.
