Visible light photocatalysis has recently been revealed for its capability to build various type of bonds using light as the only energy source. One of the most important bonds to study is the CN bond. Indeed, useful compounds possess a CN bond, it is important to develop general and efficient methods to build it in a greener and econonomic manner. We propose to contribute to visible-light photoredox catalysis by reporting new methods to build the CN bond. First, exploration of phosphoramidates towards visible light catalysis will give totally new compounds and new cascades. Proof of reactivity has been already reached which is promising for the first task. Second, we propose to develop EDA strategy which will include both N-derivatives and the coupling partner. This strategy has not been reported so far and would be thus interesting to circumvent current drawbacks of photoredox CN bond formation.
