The ambition of the MEDATIF project is to create a research partnership with several recognised role players in the academic and industrial world in order to produce knowledge on how the industries of the future, using metal additive manufacturing, develop while effectively preserving and promoting human health. Metal additive manufacturing has been chosen for the project as an emblematic and strategic case of the industry of the future. The challenge is to characterise the human work in these Industry 4.0, while characterising the risks to human health to prevent them, and the prospects for developing work activities. With this perspective, the project aims to design and test a transferable method for use by preventionists and companies. This systemic approach to health applied to the topic of the industry of the future constitutes the originality of this project.
