Strengthening the skills and competences of migrants for iNTERCULTural mediation and for better inclusion of migrant communities in the diversified societies

<< Objectives >>With the project we would like to achieve better inclusion of migrants, better understanding of intercultural mediation and itsimportance for inclusion of migrants and greater awareness of importance including migrants to hosting society, especiallyamong institutions, offices etc., where migrants face the most obstacles for their inclusion through skilled and competentintercultural mediators and guidelines on implementing intercultural mediation enhancing the role of intercultural mediators<< Implementation >>The main activities of the project are designed in evolving and exchanging way upgrading one another: collecting good andeffective practices on intercultural mediation, focus group to identify the needs of intercultural mediators not yet addressed,development of specific training on intercultural mediation and piloting the training twice to fully comply with the aim ofstrengthening skills of intercultural mediators, preparing the guidelines on implementation of intercultural mediation.<< Results >>The expected results are a thorough review of good and effective practices in intercultural mediation addressing also the needs of intercultural mediators that haven't been addressed yet, a desk research on approaches in intercultural mediation and a better notion of this complex and evolving field, a specific training on intercultural mediation, developed upon previous results and guidelines on implementing intercultural mediation. Expected outcome is better inclusion of migrants.
