AI Explorers: Cultivating Creativity and Digital Literacy in Education with Artificial Intelligence

<< Objectives >>AI Explorers equips teachers with the knowledge and tools to integrate AI into 9-14-year-olds' learning, fostering AI literacy, critical thinking, and ethical awareness. The project promotes interdisciplinary, inclusive, and responsible AI adoption, ensuring students develop essential digital skills while teachers gain practical strategies to enhance classroom engagement and innovation.<< Implementation >>The project will assess at least 30 AI-enhanced tools, train 57 teachers, and pilot AI-integrated lesson plans in 18 classrooms across 3 countries. Activities include interactive teacher training, classroom pilots, AI tool evaluations, peer networking, online events, and policy recommendations to ensure sustainable and scalable AI integration in schools.<< Results >>The project will deliver AI training modules, cross-disciplinary lesson plans, an Educators Hub, a Handbook of Best Practices, and policy recommendations. It will enhance teacher capacity, improve AI literacy among students, and support sustainable AI adoption in schools. Results will be shared through open educational resources (OERs), academic research, and national & EU education policy discussions.
