<< Background >>This project was very important to contribute to understanding the cultural diversity,global citizenship,safeguarding ICH and transmission ICH to next generations.Because of today's busy life styles,cultural preservation's future was at risk.In globalizing world,our students were lack of knowledge about their own culture and they were tended to humiluating other cultures.Therefore their cultural awareness and skills needed to be improved.So our schoolsimplemented their teaching and learning programmes with living heritage to have more conscious students aboutcultures.Our schools' teachers integrated ICH into the existing curricula and relevant cultural topics to their disiplines by definingtheir own teaching methods,so the students improved understanding of cultural heritage,preservation and safeguarding.Each school defined ICH elements(from UNESCO's Representative List)and the teachers set up some workshops in History,Foreign Language,Geography,Literature etc..by developing lesson plans and learning activities regarding the list..This workshops improved the critical thinking about heritage and the lives of their families,comminities and societies through taking their responsibility in the transmisson of ICH.<< Objectives >>Through this project;-We promoted the value of ICH and made more visible them.-We encouraged transmission of ICH and fostered them in places of their origin.-We emphasized the need for safeguarding of traditional heritage in the society they belonged.-We introduced other countries' cultural elements to respect cultural diversity.-We implemented the elements of ICH to teaching programmes in our schools.<< Implementation >>We defined 4 activities for each country:A1:The Concept and Importance of ICH-Spain:4students and 2teachers from TR-IT-GR participated to the activity.A2:Safeguarding of ICH-Türkiye:4 students and 2teachers from ES-GR participated in the activity.Italy couldn't take part in the activity.A3:Cultural Diversity-Italy:4 students and 2teachers from TR-ES-GR participated.A4:Transmission of ICH through Education-Greece:4 students and 2 teachers from ES-TR-IT took part in the activity.<< Results >>By this project;The participant students developed their cultural competences,language digital and green skills.Theparticipant teachers discovered new teaching materials and planed new teaching programmes integrated ICH elements touse in the school.The participant organisations promoted their prestige to the European level.The families knew moreabout other nations'cultures while hosting guest students.Local communities,stakeholders,NGO's were indirectedbeneficiours.
