<< Objectives >>Ageism in sexuality is a usual social practice, with health carers and adult educators lacking competencies to approach sexuality, gender and diversity in elders. Ageist beliefs are themselves internalized by elders, affecting their sexual health behaviors, and so, their health. We aim to promote an inclusive care to sexuality, gender and diversity of older adults in health carers and adult educators and empower elders in advocating for their right to a quality sexual health care.<< Implementation >>It will be implemented national focus groups with Elder Consulting Bodies, Inter-Generational and Contact activities with gender and sexual diverse groups; an Age Wise Training for health carers and adult educators on inclusive methodologies; Silver Chats peer-to-peer Sessions, where elders will discuss the theme of sexuality and diversity in the third age; and Open-Minded Conversations, where elders will aware adult educators and health providers regarding sexuality in older age.<< Results >>It is expected the development of international reports on the barriers and facilitators of an inclusive health care approach to sexuality, gender and diversity in older age; the preparation of an Inter-Generational Speed-Dating Guide to challenge ageist beliefs regarding sexuality, and a Handbook on inclusive methodologies to approach sexuality, gender and diversity in the third age; and the development of evidence-based factsheets regarding sexual, gender and diversity health care.
