Best Practices in Esports Youth Programs - A Handbook

<< Background >>We applied for this project because we wanted to make an esports training guide for the youth. Esports are a fast growing environment and we wanted to make this guide for international use, to give everyone a chance to implement best practices in their esports programs for youth. By combining the knowledge of two of the most superior and successful countries in esports for youth in the world, we addressed the need for a training guide and made it happen.<< Objectives >>We wanted to make an esports training guide for the youth for best practise, make it accessible for everyone and give esports youth programs a chance to implement best practise by using our product. We used the experience in Iceland and Denmark, which have a lot of experience with esports for youth, to achieve this. We also wanted to learn more about inclusion in esports to include that in the product.<< Implementation >>We did an information gathering in Iceland, workshop and seminar in Denmark, wrote a handbook and promoted our project results.<< Results >>The concrete output is the handbook that was written throughout this project. Other results: both countries made new contacts in the field of work in both countries which has opened the door for other esports related opportunities.
