<< Background >>SOLUTION, Education In Progress and BEST are all youth organizations deeply committed to improving learning and career opportunities for young people. As such, they are constantly striving to enhance their educational provision for this target group. YAE wanted to respond to these needs by providing them with resources and skills that have enabled them to broaden their expertise in training courses in the cultural sector. It can be difficult to break into the arts sector, and this can have a negative effect on young artists, who sometimes feel frustrated and give up on the idea of making a career out of their art. YAE wanted to propose solutions to the lack of specific marketing and art promotion training courses for this target group. Thus, the partnership developed a whole set of resources free of access on the YAE online Application to train young artists on how to advertise, promote, create their marketing plan, set up networks and use social media to promote their artworks. Another need addressed by YAE was the recognition and validation of artists’ competences. “YAE Evaluation System” was developed to answer this need and to assess young artists4 SKILLS. The System was connected to ESCO and based on the ECVET system.<< Objectives >>The YAE project aimed at increasing young artists’ professional opportunity and readiness to integrate the art world by increasing their skills in promoting their artworks. The project partners developed specific resources with the goal of giving a professional framework to young artists’ activities. In particular YAE objectives were: Objective 1: Create specific marketing content for young artists to improve their professional competencies within the cultural sector, through the Nanolearning methodology. Objective 2 : Create an international network for young artists involved in YAE to offer them exhibition opportunities in their country and in the partner countries of the project. Objective 3: Providing young artists with professional opportunity to turn their artistic activity into professional opportunities.
