<< Background >>COVID-19 affected the health of society, including the new generation, both directly and indirectly. The indirect effects, due to various restrictions on contact and remote learning, were associated with less physical activity and generally with a more unhealthy lifestyle. The project raises awareness of human needs at individual level and links it very directly with processes that are of global importance. The main objectives of the project are three: encouraging young people to socialize and do sports more; educate young people and educators on nutrition (with a focus on plant-based nutrition), the importance of physical and mental health; introduction of sustainable and eco-friendly lifestyles.<< Objectives >>In our project, we had two main goals. First off, we wanted to get young people interested in taking care of themselves better. That meant teaching them about sports, healthy eating, and being environmentally friendly. We believed that by doing this, we could help them lead healthier and more informed lives. The second goal was to bring people together. We used sports and eco-friendly activities to create a sense of unity among diverse communities. By doing activities that are good for both people and the environment, we aimed to build connections and shared responsibility. To sum it up, our project aimed to help young people live healthier lives by teaching them about sports and good habits, and at the same time, foster a sense of togetherness through activities that benefit both people and the environment.<< Implementation >>The project had two main parts: Management and Implementation. In the Management part, there were organizational activities implemented, like the project kick-off and team meetings. Also project updates and results were disseminated through partner webpages and press releases. On the other hand, the Implementation work package had two work directions: theory and practice. For the theory part, a conference was organized and a handbook was created to introduce target groups about the project topics. We also did a survey to see how interested people were and how much they learned. For the practical side of Implementation, the project did things that directly involved young people. This included workshops and mobilities to other countries where participants engaged in various sports activities and included plant-based diets in their menus. These activities were meant to put into practice what the project was all about and give tangible benefits to the participants. Overall, the project aimed to balance theory and hands-on experiences to make sure the project had a meaningful impact.<< Results >>The project, spanning May 1, 2022, to October 31, 2023, included 14 management and 9 implementation activities. Management involved technical/admin functions, like Project Team Meetings and Web page updates. Implementation covered practical and theoretical aspects, including learning, networking, and experience-sharing mobilities.Management Activities (Results: 14/14): WEB PAGE UPDATES (3): Partners published content to raise awareness about the project.
