"<< Background >>Digital transformation is rapidly changing our world, with an increased interest in artificial intelligence (AI). New AI solutions on the market offer diverse capabilities, such as text editing, image generation, website creation and virtual presentations. Young people can benefit from these tools for educational purposes, such as creating innovative presentations. However, teenagers often misuse AI, relying on it for homework and blindly accepting its answers. To solve this, education is needed to inform young people about the versatility and risks of AI. In addition, the project aims to develop organizations and equip trainers with educational tools. The goal is to build confidence in AI by promoting its prudent use.<< Objectives >>Companies faced challenges related to reliable AI education, security and misinformation. The European Commission has highlighted the potential of AI to solve societal problems, but stressed the need for high quality and reliable technology, backed by legal standards and education. Our project focuses on non-formal education of young people in AI applications. We aim to develop pedagogical tools for trainers to improve digital skills, particularly for young people with special needs. The project will result in a publication addressing the legal basis of AI, safety and opportunities for young people. The project aims to support quality and innovation in non-formal education, increase educators' and young people's knowledge of AI, combat misinformation and improve digital safety. Our objectives are in line with the community's aspirations for a safe digital transformation.<< Implementation >>Both the applicant and the transnational partner regularly work with young people and offer workshops on cybersecurity. These workshops focus on topics such as image protection, sensitive data, legal foundations of online activities and combating cyberbullying. The staff leading the workshops aim to introduce content on artificial intelligence and its practical use, as well as data and image protection. They plan to develop a series of seven workshops specifically for young people aged 15 to 18 on artificial intelligence. This project addresses the needs of teenagers by providing them with hands-on experience with AI, teaching them how to define prompts, educating them on AI safety and regulations, and providing them with theoretical information to navigate complex situations.<< Results >>The transnational cooperation project aims to reach a wider audience by implementing the script ""Technologies of tomorrow - combating misinformation and building safety skills in the use of artificial intelligence by young people."" The involvement of a foreign partner will lead to innovative solutions and a different perspective on digital education of young people, particularly those with special educational needs. The project will operate in rural and rural-urban municipalities, expanding its scope to bridge the digital exclusion of young people with limited access to education. The aim of the project is to develop and expand non-formal education tools for youth in IA, which will be tested on two independent target groups. The initiative also presents an opportunity for institutional development and future transnational activities focused on AI tools for seniors."
