Promote cultural diversity, bringing a European dimension to disadvantaged areas:rural Lisov, SK/ socially disadvantaged population/ Chambéry, FR. Constitute a first stage of cooperation and development of project management skills on a European scaleCreate opportunities for artists and crafters.Improve understanding of the mask as a tool for educational action and artistic expression, for local communities and young people.<< Implementation >>Activities: Project management 2 Transnational meetings by Video conferenceThree residencies : Residency « Mask Heritage » 5 days/ SK Residency « Contemporary mask » 10 days/ FRResidency « Collective Creating, Arts and Crafts » 5 days/ SKTools 2 mask kits2 web pages in 3 languages: EN, FR, SK, with short videos 2 pedagogical worksheets, 1 for the Museum and 1 for the mask kits, in 3 languages: EN, FR and SKA digital mask platform.A series of mask workshops in schools<< Results >>We expect to:Create tools, to use during the project by both partners, then by other youth workers, young people and professionals in the years to come.Have an increased understanding of the utility of masks, as a vector for learning and as a means of connecting to our collective cultural past and present.Forge a strong and sustainable partnership between the organisations, creating a networking of mask specialists.Convince disadvantaged young people that culture is for them.
