"<< Background >>The decision to apply for this project was prompted by the massive impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on education, which has affected teachers, students, parents and the wider community. The rapid shift to distance learning has revealed gaps in teachers' digital literacy skills and adaptation to online teaching methods. In 2021, a consortium of six schools will be formed, which will include three entities providing educational services. The pandemic highlighted that while teachers had essential digital competencies, it was often difficult to create assignments individually and go beyond the use of traditional tools such as PowerPoint presentations. In addition, the crisis revealed the reluctance of educators to share and disseminate digital resources.Remote work has shown that teachers need to further develop their digital competences, especially in creating engaging and effective digital learning materials. This project aimed to address these challenges and gaps.By focusing on these goals, the project addressed many of the digital literacy gaps among teachers, fostered collaboration in the development of digital resources, and implemented effective assessment tools in the context of evolving educational technologies.<< Objectives >>Objectives: The primary objectives of implementing the ""Digit&Learn"" project were as follows:Enhance Teachers' Competencies: Develop and enhance teachers' skills in digital and new technology content creation through a blended approach-based Training Format.Creation of Digital Tools: Collaboratively create a Digital & Virtual Toolbox, involving partners and trained teachers, containing newly developed digital tools. These tools are intended for use in lessons across various school subjects.Assessment of Impact: Develop an Assessment tool focused on evaluating the impact of the Digital Toolbox on student learning achievements.Outcomes: The anticipated outcomes of the project include:Promotion of Digital Education: Promotion of the use of digital and virtual means in school education, contributing to the advancement of teaching methods.Integration into Education: Adoption of project Results by various educational entities, with the integration of developed materials into curricular activities. These objectives and outcomes collectively aimed to bring about positive changes in teaching methodologies, empower educators with digital competencies, and contribute to the advancement of digital education in schools.<< Implementation >>During the entire period of the project, the partners carried out activities. A shared drive was created to ensure that all partners have an important repository of all project management documents, files, deliverables, quality documents, etc. There were communication channels such as group chat for quick and efficient communication as well as email. Two international meetings took place - one at the beginning and one at the end of the project. Quality, impact, evaluation surveys and outcome analysis were conducted. The project included three deliverables – a training format, a toolkit and an assessment system that create and combine in one platform. All results are translated into partner languages: English, Lithuanian, Italian, Finnish, Turkish, Romanian and Greek. While creating the results, they were tested, corrected. After finalizing the results, each partner organized replication events in their country. This enabled all partners to present project results to target groups.<< Results >>The platform https://digit-learn.eu/lt/ was created, which combines all three results of the project:Training Format https://digit-learn.eu/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/DigitLearn-Training-Format_%CE%95%CE%9D.pdfToolkit https://elearn.digit-learn.eu/The assessment system is based on the open source learning management system MOODLE and has a fun web design that allows the platform to be accessed from all devices (computers, tablets, smartphones, projectors, etc.). The platform is multilingual, so all the training materials (lesson plans, interactive activities, self-assessment) were created and uploaded to the platform in all partner languages (English, Lithuanian, Finnish, Romanian, Greek, Italian, Turkish). The platform has a user-friendly design and navigation that allows teachers and students with less digital skills to access the system. The Moodle learning management system allows you to measure the knowledge acquired by students through interactive activities, online quizzes, self-assessment and tests.Promotion of Digital Education: The project actively promoted the use of digital and virtual means in school education, fostering innovative teaching approaches."
