Cast your Voice for Democracy

<< Objectives >>The project aims to enhance democratic literacy and civic engagement among students, nurturing critical thinking and active participation in democratic processes. By instilling democratic values on all levels of education, society and work and empowering students to actively participate in their schools, communities and labour market, the project seeks to create an inclusive and democratic learning environment where individuals are empowered to participate actively in democratic decision-making.<< Implementation >>Students will be familiarized with democratic participation on diff. levels by e.g. engaging with student councils, organizing mock elections, developing trainings to overcome barriers to integration. Best-practice approaches to improve integration in the labour market will be witnessed. Interactive methods like role-playing, problem-solving exercises, group work will be employed. Collaboration or workshops with external partners will reduce barriers and promote civic engagement among students.<< Results >>We expect all participants to enhance participation in democratic processes, increase engagement on all levels: in school, society and the workplace and appreciate values of inclusion, diversity and tolerance. They will identify and overcome barriers to participation in society and the (EU) labour market. The project will foster critical thinking, active civic engagement and enable students to exercise their rights, voices and voting power effectively to become responsible citizens.
