SUCCESS FOR EVERY CHILD in the virtual world and inclusion in the real world

<< Background >>The priority was to create a safe environment that offer optimal conditions for every child without differences,so that they could experience success at school and develop their talents.The needs responded to the current situation,which reflected the consequences of distance education, brought problems in relationships and communication between kids,deepened the gap in digital literacy and highlighted the barriers faced by children from socially disadvantaged backgrounds.In recent years, migration has increased in Europe,which has brought additional challenges associated with the integration of children with different mother tongues.Therefore, the creation of an inclusive environment that would correspond to the specific needs of the wider community and respond to the current situation in schools became the most important need of the project.Inclusion should become an everyday reality and the project tried to set the conditions so that every child has access to quality education and can fully participate in school life.Emphasizing healthy relationships,open communication and promoting diversity,the project sought to make schools a place where every child can discover and develop their potential in a safe and supportive environment<< Objectives >>1 goal was a thorough focus on relationships and to analyze how individual procedures are interconnected in creating a safe environment. Bullying prevention must be seriously and systematically incorporated into schools.We strived for comprehensive strategies that won´t focus on consistent prevention,which includes implementing adaptation stays.Goal of teaching kids with a different mother tongue was to support their language development and integration,which includes learning a new language,but also respecting and maintaining cultural identity.We tried to raise awareness about the pitfalls that come with the virtual world.In an increasingly digitized society,it´s essential that kids understand not only the benefits but also the risks of online interactions.We support kids' digital skills,which will enable them to safely navigate the digital environment.We focused on education about safe behavior on social networks,privacy protection and ability to recognize dangerous situations in online space.Goals included training for teachers so that they too could adequately respond to kids' questions and concerns.Project aimed to improve climate and integrate prevention across schools,with aim of ensuring a safe,supportive lear.enviroment<< Implementation >>Activities contributed to creating a safe environment in schools.It was carried out by the staff of school counseling offices from all schools,through a model adaptation stay in the CR, in which teachers and kids participated.Implementation of adaptation stays led to creation of brochure with procedures and programs.Project included mapping of socially disadvantaged kids,preparation of a methodical booklet as inspiration for schools.Other activity was language cafes,whose programs were collected in brochure of examples of good practice.Meeting in Croatia focused on sharing experiences with language cafes. Pictograms serving as guidelines for safe behavior in the virtual world and related activities were created,which were tested in teaching and supported IT security, which was presented at meeting in Portugal.Project also included methodical support against bullying,where various programs for the school environment were developed.Results of the bullying questionnaires provided valuable data from schools.Teacher training and meeting in Spain stimulated the exchange of best practices,that contributing to project's improvement in school climate and safety.In Latvia, there was a final conference to disseminate the results to community<< Results >>The project produced outputs that positively influenced the school environment. Among the key outputs are the realization of adaptation stays, which enabled teachers and pupils to strengthen ties in class groups through various activities. During the meeting in the Czech Republic, a model adaptation stay was presented, where teachers and students actively participated in various activities. The developed almanac of adaptation stay programs and a handbook aimed at children from socially disadvantaged backgrounds contain best practices and inspiration for other schools. Another output is the language cafes, which made it possible to overcome language barriers and were documented in the almanac of examples of good practice. The meeting in Croatia promoted the sharing of experiences and activities related to these cafes. The emphasis on digital safety and the created pictograms for safe movement in the virtual world made it easier for students and teachers to understand this issue. Preventive programs against bullying, developed in cooperation with five European schools, contributed to the creation of a positive school climate.
