RAPPORT - RoadMap for improving the quality and responsiveness of VET – Theory and Practice

RAPPORT is a capacity building project based on multilateral partnership between organisations in Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Albania and Bosnia Herzegovina that are active in VET (Vet providers & chambers). Based on the needs analysis of Albania and Bosnia Herzegovina, taking into consideration both the Torino Process reports but also the development strategies of the countries, the consortium has identified the need to improve the quality and responsiveness of VET to socio-economic opportunities and social developments to enhance the labour market relevance of skills provision. This is achieved through a systemic multidimensional approach that includes: 1)Quality Assurance 2)Modernization and Innovation 3)Partnerships with Industry 4)Recognition and Validation of Skills 5) Career Guidance and Counselling and 6)Inclusive and Accessible VET. RAPPORT aims to provide a holistic way on how the quality and responsiveness of VET can be improved and it tackles all the above-mentioned issues (to different extents each). RAPPORT is a “theory then practice” project where all partners will achieve the above (some to a greater and some to a less extent) through a multilevel approach where: On a 1st level a series of capacity building workshops are implemented [CAPACITY BUILDING] On a 2nd level partners design, develop, deliver, validate together training curricula and materials to be used in an asynchronous learning mode as well as deliver career advice through which they put into practice what they have learned during the first level. Green, digital and entrepreneurial skills are used as a case study to practice skills gained through capacity building[PRACTICAL APPLICATION]. On a 3rd level a community of practice is set up with VET professionals and social partners from the countries of the consortium (and possibly outside that discusses and jointly learns through a series of virtual workshops on aspects related to the attractiveness and relevance of VET [EXPLOITATION AND IMPACT]
