<< Background >>The special feature of the public education institution of the Békés-based Reményhír [Hopeful News] Educational Operations Center is that it is not diverse in terms of ethnic and sociocultural background. Predominantly cumulatively disadvantaged and mainly Roma children attend the institution. The teachers are committed and professionally well-trained, but we still thought it necessary to continuously expand their methodological cognition and knowledge as widely as possible. During the methodological development, we planned the formation and development of a conscious motivational, value-forming educational work. With this tender, we wanted to help our colleagues learn a new pedagogical methodology, introduce them to Roma culture, and think about how they can implement all of this into their daily work. Since there is a social and sociocultural difference between our teachers and the families of the children who come to our institutions, we would like our staff to have a deeper understanding of the social perception of children and families, their daily lives, the Roma culture and history.<< Objectives >>During the program, we would like our colleagues to get to know the Kedvesház [Precious-house] Program and to implement the learned methodology into their daily work. Kindergarten pedagogues, teachers, and staff working in the mission field learned about several methodological elements that provide an opportunity to develop rules and to get to know children and families better. Through close professional cooperation with the consortium partner, we wanted to create a professional workshop to provide real fellowship for those professionals who work in two different countries but share the same mother tongue, and who work among families and children often with similar or same difficulties. During our work, we often encounter the same life situations and we wanted to share and exchange our good practices, the techniques, and tools we use in our work. Another important goal of the project was to have an indirect effect on social exclusion. The perception of Roma society is very negative in both countries, they have to deal with many stereotypes and obstacles. With the methodological and professional development of our teachers and colleagues, we want to help and support families through their children so that they can live the fullest << Implementation >>Project management activities were continuously provided by both partners during the entire period of the project. Two project management meetings were held, one in person and one online. Our employees participated in the Kedvesház [Precious-house] Program training. As a result of the successful completion of the educational activity, all involved persons, without exception, received a valid certificate. The exchange of experience planned by both partners was also implemented. Also, two projectors and two laptops were purchased within the framework of the project.Kedvesház [Precious-house] Program training: in Hungary and Romania with 4 groups each, 120 people in total. The employees involved in the training were able to use the methodological, romological, and Roma cultural knowledge they received here in many areas.An exchange of experiences took place on two occasions involving Romanian and Hungarian colleagues. Visits to institutions, kindergartens, and schools took place in both countries. The meeting provided an opportunity for professional dialogue and a kind of supervision, and we were able to share known good practices with each other.<< Results >>The staff participating in the Kedvesház [Precious-house] Program training got to know a new pedagogical methodology. Some elements of the methodology were implemented into their daily work.The project management meetings brought important results. Professionals have a great need and demand for continuous meetings and dialogues. Both groups of professionals/co-workers work together with underprivileged families, the project management meetings, in addition to providing an opportunity to coordinate the project's technical and moderator tasks, also functioned as a kind of professional supervision.Exchange of experience: Transylvanian Roma families often undertake seasonal work in Western Europe, where they take their children with them, who thus drop out of school and cannot progress at an adequate pace. The Hungarian colleagues first mentioned the difficulty of maintaining contact and communication with the parents, citing cultural differences as the reason. In addition to discussing difficulties and obstacles, they were able to support each other with professional inputs that helped them move forward or resolve some individual obstacles.It is also an important result that the discussion and presentation of these issues brought
