<< Background >>We applied for this project because we wanted to improve the pupils' and teachers' key competencies (foreign languages, using ICT). We wanted to improve media literacy, using technology in the classroom. and apply EU's core values in the digital platforms to be better citizens. What is more we aimed to contribute the social awareness about internet usage, digital literacy, digital learning and social inclusion and diminish the risks of virtual platforms in people's digital life .<< Objectives >>The core objectives of the projects were being responsible users of digital platforms and understand the basics of the Internet safety, enhancing the knowledge of digital technologies for teaching and learning and developing their digital skills in all areas, creating high-quality learning contents, user-friendly tools and secure platforms which respect privacy and ethical standards. Our goals were to make our students be aware of the hazards of the Internet use, use ICT technology appropriately, improve their language competence by interacting with European people, get to know them and integrate with other cultures in order to be European citizens endowed with European core values, get to know new teaching and learning methods and approaches to digital education. We aimed our teachers to search and learn about best practices, new teaching approaches, strategies and methods by using digital tools and use them in the classroom, create high-quality learning content in the digital environment, share best practices with other teachers. We aimed to make our institutions provide safer internet for students and staff, have a better understanding of e-security policies and have a chance to transfer best practices from partner schools.<< Implementation >>-Project logo contest. -Digital presentation on our country, region, city and school which was exhibited in host countries, which had to do the same task on themselves. -Digital presentations on the Digital literacy, Online safety, Cyberbullying made by both sending and hosting schools. -Workshops about the main topic of the project in each mobility, organised by the hosting school. -Realization of a muralwith positive messages prepared by the students -Announcement video about Internet safety. -Participation in cultural and sports events. -Final evaluation of the project. All these activities have been shared in our school and our project social media and E-Twinning. During the project implementation, materials have been collected in order to create the final products.<< Results >>Project logo was designed by students, project magazine was released, best practices book with sample lesson plans for online teaching methods and approaches created by the teachers ( Language, Science, Mother Tongue, History) was created and shared , the Alphabet of Safer Internet ( Digital Glossary) was created, E-safety Manual was prepared and translated into partners' languages , 2 Public Service Announcement Videos were created collaboratively, dissemination tools such as booklets, brochures were produced, seminars were held for parents and the wider community, E-safety label was taken and schools had an e-security policy.
