FEMpower in Finance - Upskilling women in sustainable financial literacy to raise their confidence and counter the threat of old age poverty

<< Objectives >>With FEMpower in Finance, we want to contribute to countering the threat of old-age poverty of women and reduce gender inequalities by upskilling women in sustainable financial literacy to empower them to make sustainable financial decisions. We aim to increase their self-confidence regarding financial decisions and raise awareness of the importance of old-age provision and asset accumulation for women in particular. By doing so, we make an important contribution to social inclusion.<< Implementation >>Through extensive desk and field research, including interviews with target groups and beneficiaries, we will create a curriculum that will serve as the basis for the creation of educational resources to upskill women in sustainable financial literacy. The theoretical resources will be complemented by a toolbox, compiling directly applicable tools to facilitate financial affairs and an interactive knowledge hub, serving as a central dissemination platform and facilitating peer-to-peer learning.<< Results >>With our project, we will increase the relevance and impact of Adult Eduactors by providing them with modular, flexible and innovative training materials that enable them to empower women to make sustainable financial decisions and to increase their self-confidence regarding financial matters. By focusing on sustainable investments, the project not only impacts positively on the economy but also contributes to driving change and achieving positive impacts on society and environment.
