SilverEdge: Empowering Adults 55+ for Workforce Success

<< Objectives >>SilverEdge is a dynamic initiative committed to promoting workforce inclusion of older adults. Through authored online resources on a dedicated e-platform, the project aims to empower mature adults 55 +, ensuring that they thrive in today's dynamic job market and entrepreneurship landscape. It also supports trainers and mentors of old learners/job seekers or entrepreneurs. Through international collaboration, we aim to enrich our project with cross-cultural perspectives & enhance capacity.<< Implementation >>We will:1. create an E-learning platform;2. develop learning content in a digital form for two courses: for adult 55+ learners & for trainers/mentors/coaches and integrate AI practices for job finding and mentorship;3. test the functionalities of the E- platform and courses in a Pilot and Training Activity in FR to ensure that the platform is user-friendly, efficient, and effective in delivering the intended training and support;4. hold 2 onsite TPM in BG and PT;5. disseminate results.<< Results >>SilverEdge will have:Tangible results: E-Platform accessible to adults 55+, trainers/ mentorsTwo digital training courses providing digital resources, video and support materials.Intangible results:Challenged age stereotypesImproved capabilities among mentors, trainers, and coaches to guide mature workers effectivelyIncreased self-confidence and self-efficacy among older adults as they acquire new skills and knowledge, including in AI practices Instilled mindset of continuous learning.
