Valores por la educación

"<< Background >>We requested the ""Values for Education"" project to address the growing needs to strengthen values education among education professionals and adults, especially in a context of accelerated social, cultural and technological change. We observed a growing demand for innovative tools, resources and strategies that promote inclusion, diversity, mutual respect and active citizenship in diverse and complex educational and community settings. Our project focused on developing and sharing a Handbook of Good Practices that provides guidance, inspiration and practical support to educators and practitioners to effectively integrate values into their educational practices and approaches, thereby fostering the holistic development, well-being and success of individuals, communities and society as a whole.<< Objectives >>When implementing the ""Values for Education"" project, our main objective was to strengthen and improve the skills of adult learners and educational staff through a variety of educational options. We focused on fostering active participation, integration with others in different environments and the development of transversal competences in integration and cooperation. We aimed to improve both verbal and non-verbal communication, facilitating the exchange of knowledge between different groups of people. Our aim also included the promotion of equal opportunities between organisations and the evaluation of the skills acquired by the beneficiaries. We aimed to establish a Handbook of Good Practices that would reflect the operational, methodological and effective aspects of the project, and serve as a tool to share the values and skills acquired with a wide audience. We intended this project to contribute significantly to the personal and professional development of the participants, as well as to the strengthening of the capacities of the organisations involved in the cultural, educational and environmental fields.<< Implementation >>Within the framework of the implementation of the project, we have prioritised the elaboration of a Handbook of Good Practices addressed to professionals of organisations, social entities or training centres linked to the field of non-formal education. This manual was designed with the aim of fostering and promoting educational knowledge with a social and territorial perspective, encouraging the development and results of the project. In addition, we have carried out activities to share the achievements and objectives reached with the relevant decision-makers, in order to disseminate best practices and lessons learned. As a complement to the creation of the handbook, we have also promoted innovation within the educational field through various initiatives and activities that have enriched the content and methodologies proposed in the handbook.<< Results >>The specific results obtained in our project include a significant improvement in the language competences of the participants, achieved through activities that promoted inclusion, cooperation and active participation in the initiatives developed transnationally. The main tangible product of the project is the Handbook of Good Practices, which has been elaborated and distributed to various institutions and stakeholders. This handbook has been successfully disseminated among educational and training institutions, organisations collaborating with the target groups, including adults with socio-economic vulnerability and educational staff, as well as social workers and social entities.Furthermore, we have observed an increased awareness and application of the values promoted by the project, as well as an enhanced capacity of the participants to integrate these values into their daily practice. These results reflect the positive impact of the project on the improvement of competences, the promotion of social inclusion and the dissemination of good practices in the educational and social field."
