<< Objectives >>The project aims to strengthen EU civic activism and engagement in the promotion of gender equality and LGBTQIA+ inclusion in online and offline public spaces from three key Mediterranean-facing Southern European urban communities, by promoting inclusivity in non-formal adult education—a crucial field for civic engagement in its development of key competences and active citizenship among citizens and the growth of a democratic society capable of fighting against social injustice (Manninen 2017).<< Implementation >>The project will implement the following to strengthen adults’ capacities to include and empower women and the LGBTQIA+ people in public spaces:→ 2 x transnational CBAs for 30 adult educators across Italy, Spain and Greece.→ N.1 creation of Decalogue of Inclusion.→N.1 development and production of replicable non-formal educational resource (podcast, handbook, podcast-making methodology)→ 6 x non-formal public educational events for adult educators and learners across Italy, Spain and Greece.<< Results >>Increased civic engagement and activism among 150 adult educators and learners in promotion of women and LGBTQIA+ people’s inclusion in online and offline public spaces.
