Save and Clean The Earth, Live Long

"<< Background >>The project "" Save and Clean the Earth, Live Long"" was implemented from October 1st, 2022 to October 24th, 2024 under the program: Erasmus + KA210-SCH - Small-scale partnerships in school education. The leitmotif of the project is ecology - to make students and adults aware of the importance of taking care of the environment and the issue of responsibility for current actions towards new generations. Specific issues concern: - water- conservation of resources, - air- avoiding pollution and the impact of air on the environment, - soil- types, pollutants that cause environmental degradation, and ways to protect it, - nature- taking care of the environment in general.<< Objectives >> The tasks to be carried out will serve to develop the student's interest in natural sciences, mathematics, and chemistry and, at the same time, improve foreign language competence in English and German. The added value is also raising the quality of school work in the framework of good practices.<< Implementation >> 1.The activity ‘My lungs are clean' involved activities about air pollution. It included forest observations, outdoor activites and air stem activities. 2. The activity ‘Water is life’ involved stem and outdoor activities about water pollution and importance of water sources. 3.The activity ‘Soil is our mother' involved stem and outdoor activities about soil pollution. 4.The activity 'We mind the nature' aimed at creating awareness about the environmental pollution caused by human being<< Results >> Conducting these activities brought these expected results:1.Observations of the lives and their ecological diversity in the forest.2.Students and teachers experienced sports techniques to improve their own breathing abilities 3.The correct breathing techniques were shown to the children by the relevant teachers.4.Trees are the lungs of the world. Students will observe all the living things such as types of trees, ages of the trees, animals living in the forests ( birds, insects), mushrooms, flowers, and plants.5.Activities will be useful in teaching strategic thinking and cooperation.6.Participants will get information about the environment and pollution- air/soil/water/light. Some of them will be based on chemical experiments that show clear changes pollution causes to the environment.7.with the trip to the nearby ""Kazimierski Park Krajobrazowy"", They will be shown different species of birds, plants, and trees that are present in the area.8.They were also provided with information about strategies to make the air cleaner.9. How to clean water and use water economically.10. The 5Rs were learned and some activities were done with waste items.11. Sts learned how to compost wastes.12. Sts learned seed balls."
