<< Objectives >>According to both EU and global data the business case of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in the tourism sector is solid and the labour market needs a skilled and prepared workforce to cater to the diverse needs and expectations of customers and employees. The project tackles the issue of enriching the curricula of VET learners at the time of generative AI (Artificial Intelligence), offering them training tools able to combine ethical values with business and technological innovation.<< Implementation >>The project's core mission is to develop a flexible, learner-centred learning programme, based on the edutainment methodology that mixes education and entertainment and allows learners to learn by exploring and experiencing the latest trends in both DEI and digital innovation topics, such as generative AI. A comprehensive communication and dissemination strategy supports the implementation of all activities to create ideal conditions for the active involvement of participants.<< Results >>The main outcome is the engagement of VET learners in an exciting educational journey that involves their teachers/trainers/tutors (TTTs) as “peer travellers'' to improve professional competencies on DEI, and transversal skills, such as critical thinking in using generative AI. The results are: a platform hosting a set of learning tools, a blended educational board game, a Training kit for TTTs and a White Paper on how to adopt this approach in VET organisations and other education contexts
