Comprehensive & Inclusive Cycle Logistics Education Program

<< Objectives >>The CICLE program aims at supporting the development of cycle logistics in Europe by professionalising the training of bike couriers. The project focuses on the long-term development of a qualified training scheme and consequently the recognition of cycle logistics as a professional activity on the one side, and the inclusiveness of training programs on the other side. As a result, the project contributes to the dissemination of cycle logistics models and sustainable European cities.<< Implementation >>The project contains four work packages (excl. project management). The first WP consists of an in-depth analysis of the sector and the existing training programs. The second and third WPs focus on the co-construction of a cycle logistics training program and relevant tools to improve the professionalisation and inclusion level of learning processes. The fourth WP focuses on the dissemination of project deliverables among cycle logistics stakeholders and local and European authorities.<< Results >>The expected results include: 1/Production of a benchmarking report of the sector at a European level2/Co-construction of cycle logistics training program3/Co-construction of creative and inclusive tools for cycle logistics trainers4/Redaction of a white paper and organisation of dissemination events In the short term, the project supports the professionalisation and inclusion of cycle logistics training. In the long term, it contributes to the recognition of the sector and its workers.
