New narrations for the future of Europe

<< Background >>The key words that inspired the project are:1. ACTIVE CITIZENSHIP - because young people need to feel protagonists and actively participate in the life of their community.2. ENVIRONMENT - because the challenges imposed by climate change require immediate action towards sustainable development.3. RESILIENCE - the need to develop the capacity for resilience in young generations, as a necessity and a challenge that characterizes our time.<< Objectives >>The aim of the project was to create tools and activities to involve young Europeans in actions to support sustainable development, through the use of narrative methodologies and digital storytelling.At the same time, the aim was to help develop the resilience of young people who are facing a historical moment of very serious crisis. This is thanks to the fact of being able to participate in crucial actions for the future of their community and the planet, together with the possibility of developing their creativity.<< Implementation >>The main activity of the project concerned the implementation of the project results, thanks to the joint action of the staff of the partner organizations.To this end, the project carried out a series of activities:• transnational coordination meetings• implementation of a transnational staff training event• implementation of a transnational youth training event• national working groups for the implementation of the project results• methodologies testing activities• dissemination activitiesThroughout the project, the following activities were carried out:- project management actions;- monitoring and evaluation actions;- dissemination actions.<< Results >>Among the project results, a first element is certainly represented by the results, namely: R1 - Tool kit for youth workers, concerning educational activities based on different storytelling methods to involve young people in social action for environment.R2 – Video tutorial for young people concerning storytelling methods aimed at supporting sustainable development.R3 – Motivational Videos, created with the involvement of young influencers, aimed to involve young people in social action for the sustainable development.R4 – App aimed to create narratives to support sustainable development in Europe and in the world.R5 – A digital platform to involve young people in social actions aimed at supporting sustainable development and social change, through the power of life stories and creativity.At an activity level, the project achieved: - 2 transnational coordination meetings;- 1 training activity, for the staff of the partners' organizations, dedicated to the development of intellectual outputs;- 1 training activity for young people;- implementation of local piloting activities, aimed at testing the methodologies created by the project;- realization of multiplier events.
