"<< Background >>A series of youth exchanges dating back to 2016 has emerged to be the most popular activity among the coordinators network of youth. An educational live action role playing game. Ever growing in quality. Interacting with the local community. Through these Youth exchanges we worked with some informal youth groups, one of them (Slovenia) has with our support emerged into an official NGO with many activities and new members. They are part of this KA2 together with one of our best and likeminded partners (Nausika). This Polish partner has developed a lot during the last years and focused on storytelling, educational board games, and Larp as non formal education tools. All the factors above made us want to create a project that would take the original youth exchange activity (edu-larp) to a higher level and also spread it. There was a demand from the participants. Their evaluation showed us that we had to consolidate and evaluate and move creatively forward. But where? What was needed to improve quality and maybe also expand in numbers? What was the needs? We felt we needed to create more leaders/facilitators.Formalize / organize the activity better.Create material/content that could spread the edu-larp method.<< Objectives >>Use our competences to create better activities within our organizations.Support a young emerging NGO (Slovenian partner).Introduced another level of Live action role playing games into the Slovenian scene! We felt we needed to create more leaders/facilitators focused on the edu-larp methodsFormalize / organize the activity of educational larping better.Increase the quality of experience and educational values of edu-larping.Create material/content that could spread the edu-larp method.Create a stronger bond between us partners.Brought in more junior leaders into senior roles.Found more suitable partners in Europe. We created unexpectedly many synergy effects with other projects.Collaborated with many other similar projects.Created a community feeling around a shared project - a set up that is sustainable and will organically grow and keep going over the years.Had more dissemination than expected. All partners felt this was one of (or the) best KA2´s they have been part of.<< Implementation >>Our main activities were physical meetings in the form of training courses. /planning meetings:One with 18 participants that included several workshops, planning meetings, study visit. One with 14 participants that were mainly a planning meeting and production of material. For our main TC meeting we used a parallell YE as a pilot project - trying out our ideas. We had lots more online meetings than planned due to unexpected enthusiasm and creativity. We produced and bought some material that would improve the activities that this KA2 is preparing for. That included two (that became three) creative residents with young participants creating artistic scenography for future activities. Each partner has had one of more activity of local disseminations - much more than planned. We sent representatives to similar projects, more than the one we planned. Each organization had lots of local and shared management work.<< Results >>During the KA2 period we have had some extra activities (not funded by this KA2) that were used as pilot projects for; the methods, the material, for the learning outcomes of this KA2. This were highly successful with more participants than expected. Our KA2 brought the Larp activity to a new level in Slovenia. We created digital and physical material that supports our planned future activities. We have as planned increased the ""brand recognition"" of educational larping and our activities. We increased the number of participants in our projects that uses this method (and introduced other organizations)Most importantly we have gotten more participants evolving into leaders in our organizations.Administrators and leaders now have a better understanding of the activity and its potential. We have increased the quality and quantity of many activities related to the topic. Most of all we have created a sense of community and enthusiasm around the topic and the future activities. The combination of enthusiastic participant leaders also led to a spiral of motivation that led to creativity and many problems were solved and new material produced; videos, texts, photos, marketing material, maps, scenography, art, game-gear, rulebook..."
