<< Background >>One of the main needs we have identified when planning and designing the project is the lack of training and information for young people when it comes to green jobs in high growth sectors. Working in sectors where there is already strong demand and using that demand to make jobs greener and more receptive to young workers is key.Effective and innovative approaches to creating and improving youth employment in the green economy need to be developed. Broader and more comprehensive efforts are therefore needed to address the youth employment problem and to do so in ways that help mitigate the even more daunting challenges created by climate change.Leverage social media tools to increase outreach to young people around the world and stimulate new youth networks for green jobs, such as drones in the environmental sector (renewable energy, agriculture, reforestation, forest monitoring, etc.). In-depth analysis is important to understand and close the skills gaps between young people and employers in green sectors and to assess the entrepreneurial skills demanded in the market.Drone applications have varied and their use has diversified for multiple purposes. The commercial drone industry is experiencing strong growth, and new jobs.<< Objectives >>The challenge now is to use all technologies to make infrastructures and means of production operationally, environmentally, and energetically efficient in order to make them sustainable, and we now have a great opportunity in this respect through drone technology and its environmental application.Drones are already starting to be used in most sectors for different purposes, and people are still unaware of this. It is a market that is constantly evolving, but some of the many job opportunities that this profession offers today are environmental jobs. And that's why with this project we wanted to promote the digitalization of the environmental sector through the use of drones, and as a professional opportunity for young people.Other specific objectives:- To promote an understanding about the relation between digitalization and environmental challenges. - To raise young people's awareness of the importance of environmental protection.- To provide young people with the necessary skills and methodologies to combat environmental challenges. - To improve the drone skills of young people so that they can become involved in the digitization of the environmental sector- To provide young people with updated skills to green employment<< Implementation >>- The first meeting in Estonia.
