DİJİTAL KİTAPLAR BENİM İÇİN HER YERDEDIGITAL BOOKS ARE EVERYWHERE FOR ME

<< Background >>We applied for this Project to give concrete support to teachers and advanced resources to students to improve reading and comprehension skills.The main purpose of the project is to provide students with books that are suitable for their interests,needs and intelligence types,their attitudes towards reading and their reading levels.We noticed that the reading rates in the selected countries are quite low and by increasing this,the priorities of the European Union have been served.The main purpose of the APP is to recommend books that are suitable for students' interests,needs and intelligence types, attitudes towards reading and reading levels.A program has been created that provides this guidance to both students and teachers.Students will learn to use technology correctly and receive a higher quality education.Our project will help young people choose books that will help them improve themselves.Our project budget was financed by the Turkish National Agency and the EU.With the APP,students are provided with books that are divided into 3 levels according to reading comprehension,verbal reasoning and vocabulary and books that are suitable for their intelligence,interest and curiosity types and attitudes towards reading.<< Objectives >>By implementing the project we wanted (and achieved) to design,develop,pilot and test an application for reading and comprehensive porpoises.We achieved a huge number of students involved in the project piloting and test phase and we were able to give to school an application(for mobile, pad and PC)that can support their teachers on investigating the reading needs and preferences of their students.Students and teachers have learned higher quality educational content and their knowledge levels have increased.We have shown that we can distinguish books,increase digital literacy and learn how to review literature and raise the academic youth of the future.The awareness of our children who were confined to their homes during the Covid process has increased and a more socialized student community has been created.In this project,the power of books and the energy they will add to the student have been utilized.With this project,effective reading and social participation of disadvantaged groups have been accelerated.It has contributed to the prevention of early school dropout,which is a major problem in schools.These behaviors and habits have set an example for others.<< Implementation >>2 TPM in Turkey, Kick-off meeting and final conference3 TPM in the partner countries, Italy, Portugal and Spain1 LTA activities in Italy during which all the participants take part in a training week on the development of the App,contents,softwares,strategies.Not only we also discussed and agreed on the books category,number of books.Each partner agreed on its target school.The mobility was also the occasion to visit school and interact with teachers and trainers in the field of reading.Workshops in foreign languages have taken place.Every partner organized one or more dissemination events,out of all the dissemination meetings with students and teachers.A final conference in Konya saw the participation of more than 100 people,among them students,teachers,PHDs,writers,headmasters and representatives of social and cultural NGOs.Many were meetings with students and teachers for the piloting of the App in every country.All these activities contributed to increase the skills and competences of trainers, teachers, students and to create a huge net of actors and stakeholders in Europe.<< Results >>PC and mobile APP:With summaries and contents of the books. Students logged in can discover and choose the most suitable books for them thanks to an inventory of interest book topics.PROGRAM HANDBOOK:Contents,features,purposes and goals of the program are explained. Translated into the languages of project partners and in English.ELECTRONIC READING COMPREHENSION SCALE:After the validity and reliability studies,a question pool consisting of questions containing reading comprehension strategies was created and then the final electronic scale was created.10 questions designed for each book have been prepared in parallel with the reading comprehension strategies on which this scale is based.INTEREST INVENTORY OF BOOK TOPICS:An electronic scale based on determining interests in the fields of family,peer,science fiction,informative,poetry,animals,history,adventure,mystery, coaching, sport.This scale has been developed,suggestions of books suitable for the interests of the students have been provided and the levels of reading and reading comprehension have been increased.A WEB PAGE was created to present and disseminate our project more successfully https://dibofome.net
