<< Background >>The project was born from a shared observation between the partners, indicating that their audiences are not sufficiently engaged in the issues of climate change, the environment and eco-citizenship. Although many want to act, they lack the know-how and resources to do so.At the same time, youth workers do not sufficiently seize popular education opportunities, focusing on rather conventional activities.From these reflections and discussions emerged the proposal of actions aimed at strengthening the skills of professionals and creating a community of practice promoting exchanges and the sharing of knowledge, experiences and know-how. On the other hand, equip young people aged 18 to 30, particularly those with disabilities, from deprived areas or NEETs, with practical tools to increase their power to act and their interaction with their environment. The project, called Inspyred, primarily targeted young people from partner cities such as Mulhouse, Chemnitz and Varna, with the aim of strengthening their self-confidence and their belief that they can make a difference in the face of crucial environmental issues.<< Objectives >>1. Raise awareness among young people and youth workers from the associated partner cities about ecological issues and European citizenship.The objective was to involve them in international activities to help them better understand environmental challenges in order to take better action.2. Strengthen the skills of young people, especially those from disadvantaged neighbourhoods, those with disabilities or those without employment or training. By giving them practical tools and skills that can help them become agents of change in their community.3. Strengthen the skills of partner organisations in managing transnational projects, by improving cooperation and establishing sustainable partnerships.4. Promote responsible and inclusive eco-citizenship, while laying solid foundations for future collaborations between partner cities.<< Implementation >>1. Partners Meeting 1 in Mulhouse:Its objective was to formalize the partnership, distribute tasks and finalize the calendar of activities. It allowed the partners to meet for the first time.2. Seminar in Chemnitz: 5-day seminar on the 2030 Agenda, addressing topics such as sustainable energy and recycling. Youth workers participated in workshops to improve their environmental skills and their ability to positively impact their local communities.3. Mixed mobility in Mulhouse: Practical workshops on the reuse of materials. Supervised by professionals, participants made handbags with 100% recycled materials, and participated in case study visits to discover local initiatives.4. Mixed mobility in Varna: Visits to an organic farm and workshops on sustainable food and recycling, raising awareness of ecological lifestyles and strengthening their commitment to responsible practices.5. Partners meeting 2 in Varna: Closing meeting to evaluate the project, including exchanges with local partners to share results and plan future collaborations.<< Results >>The project helped to strengthen the skills of youth workers and young people in sustainable development and European citizenship. The seminars and workshops organised not only raised awareness of ecological issues among participants but also provided concrete tools to apply this knowledge in their daily work with young people.Participants produced digital tutorials documenting the reuse and recycling workshops, available online for other organisations.The project provided an enriching intercultural experience for all participants, fostering the exchange of good practices and mutual understanding between the different cultures represented.Among the challenges we faced, communication in foreign languages ​​was the most important. This project helped to break the ice.The project strengthened transnational cooperation between partner organisations, improving their capacity to initiate and manage future international projects. Also, at the end of this project, we initiated another project with our partners in order to capitalise on our first experience which was a success on all levels
