Roots and Routes: Empowering Youth Through Cultural Heritage and Sustainable Tourism

<< Objectives >>The project ‘Roots and Routes: Youth Empowerment throughCultural Heritage and Sustainable Tourism ‘ project aims to raise awareness among young people on the importance of cultural heritage, equip them with digital skills to promote and protect heritage and promote sustainable tourism entrepreneurship. The project promotes active citizenship, intercultural dialogue and innovative learning approaches among young people through international cooperation.<< Implementation >>The project includes transnational meetings (TPMs), training activities (LTTs), local initiatives and a final dissemination event. Key activities include interactive cultural heritage workshops, digital storytelling training and sustainable tourism development sessions. A digital platform and a mobile application will be developed to ensure long-term impact and accessibility of resources.<< Results >>Expected outcomes include a Digital Cultural Heritage and Sustainable Tourism Platform, a ‘Discover Your Own Cultural Heritage’ mobile application and open source training materials. These outputs will support young people, educators and stakeholders in the protection and promotion of cultural heritage. The project will create sustainable collaborations , raise awareness and provide innovative digital tools for cultural heritage engagement.
