ElevatHER - Overcoming the Gender Power Gap

<< Objectives >>Gender justice is still a challenge for European societies. It also refers to the gender power gap. The project supports women to take over power positions at work, in civil society organisations, politics et al. and hereby bearing the need for a just transition towards sustainability in mind. It provides self-guidance and self-motivation as well as knowledge to understand the background of current transformations. Inclusion takes place through democatic learning and learners’ participation.<< Implementation >>The cooperation brings NGOs and companies from 5 countries together to develop and discuss the content parts of the results, test the didactic parts and the tools during two workshops, one by including learners, and to widely disseminate the outcomes. To meet the needs, ideas and questions of trainers and learners, each partner offers monthly Women Power Circle meetings in its local context. Regular evaluation ensures a high quality of the process, its products and impact.<< Results >>The cooperation results in a multilingual lerning platform to provide information and practical knowledge for women to take over power positions in all fields of society. The courses also refer to a just transition and (gender) democratic ways to it. The APP contains a self-guidance journey to foster self-efficacy and motivation to unleash women’s power potentials. The project website documents the activities including the dissemination events of all partners.
