Unlocking the Power of Community Energy

"<< Objectives >>The ""Cooperation is Key"" project aims to empower VET teachers with the knowledge & skills that are required to integrate energy cooperatives into educational curricula.VET Students will improve their energy sector-related skills, learn about alternative energy production methods & get better prepared to enter the workforce. Communities will be strengthened & a new wave of energy-aware citizens will be created, who will be able to mitigate the impact of climate change and protect the environment.<< Implementation >>The activities that this project is going to implement include A1.Project Management and Coordination for the overall coordination of the project, A2. Needs Assessment, including the collection and analysis of data and the identification of best practices. Moreover, the project will implement A3: for the development of the curriculum and A4: Training of Trainers for the implementation of the curriculum, and A5: Dissemination to share the project's results with other interested stakeholders.<< Results >>The project aims to have the following results:>> 1 comprehensive educational curriculum on energy cooperatives (6 modules)>> 2 Training of Trainers sessions (10 VET trainers trained)>> 1 pilot testing session (30 VET students engaged)>> 2 focus groups conducted (20 stakeholders involved)>> 1000+ people reached through dissemination activities (social media, events)>> 2 multiplier events (50 participants each or 100 participants in total)>> 1 Project Management Handbook (30 pages)"
