<< Background >>The negative impact of humans on the environment has reached an undeniable level. The reckless consumption of environmental and natural resources is ultimately harming environmental resources. The EU supports innovative thinking, active participation, and the implementation of new strategies in the long term to achieve the European Green Deal's goal of becoming the first climate-neutral continent by 2050. Our project activities are driven by this goal and are aligned with the goal of comprehensively transforming Europe's entire strategy to be eco-friendly across a range of areas, from industry and finance to energy and transportation. To this end, project activities and e-content have been provided to young people to equip them with eco-entrepreneurship skills to quickly adapt to change and to develop an ecologically sensitive society of the future. Thanks to youth workers aged 30 and over, we have supported the development of eco-entrepreneurial skills, active citizenship, and a sense of initiative among young people, including those with disadvantaged backgrounds. Our activities, which promote creative learning and intercultural dialogue through eco-entrepreneurship, are also tailored to address social and societal needs.<< Objectives >>Entrepreneurship is a crucial skill that creates value for societies and can create and respond to economic opportunities. Our Eco-Entrepreneurship and Empower Eco-Youths Project is undertaking activities to equip young people with the characteristics of eco-entrepreneurship. This includes e-book content for games that demonstrate the positive impact of these activities on the natural environment through commercial and social media platforms. Our project supports the eco-entrepreneurial skills, active citizenship, and initiative-taking of young people, including those from disadvantaged backgrounds, through youth players. Through all our activities, e-content, and collaborations with partner organizations, we have achieved a transnational commitment to leaving a healthier, more environmentally friendly, and sustainable environment for future generations.<< Implementation >>Our project activities have provided youth workers with fundamental skills such as eco-entrepreneurship, the Green Deal, legal and commercial processes, innovation technologies, risk analysis, develop a new business idea, and access to green financing. Various methods were used to understand the importance of these skills for the activities. These methods included presentations, using digital tools, panels, seminars, discussion panels, analysis of important examples from around the world, analysis of relevant documentaries and films, and case studies. The skills acquired by youth workers in eco-entrepreneurship were directly and indirectly shared with young people reached by partner institutions. The activities we conducted and the e-content we produced to promote eco-entrepreneurship skills among young people were designed with engaging visual materials and understandable content. The participation of young people in cultural activities, preparation, and dissemination activities also added dynamism to the project. Partner institutions created a website, social media accounts, e-brochures, the eco-entrepreneur's e-book. A summary of the e-booklet in the partner countries' languages has been prepared and uploaded to the website.<< Results >>The project developed the eco-entrepreneurship skills of youth workers aged 30 and over, who had the potential to directly reach young people, through e-content and transnational activities. These activities enabled presentations, panels, seminars, deliberative panel discussions, and case studies to ensure that environmental issues were viewed as opportunities, not obstacles, to entrepreneurship. Social media content and e-booklets were created and presented to young people and youth workers digitally to disseminate environmentally friendly and economically rewarding business ideas throughout society. By integrating innovative methods into their activities, youth workers contributed to the development of the institutional capacity of their affiliated NGO’s. The participation of young people in project activities alongside youth workers supported the development of an awareness of active citizenship and EU values. By updating their knowledge on eco-entrepreneurship, youth workers and young people improved their self-confidence, cooperation and teamwork skills, foreign language skills, and the ability to use e-contents.
