Entrepreneurial Countryside to Boost Rural Businesses

<< Objectives >>The project vision is to create thriving, sustainable rural communities by empowering rural youth entrepreneurs and small business initiatives so that they can generate economic prosperity and preserve the unique character and heritage of the countryside.The project goal is to provide an experential learning-by-doing training, support and experience to youth in rural areas to promote youth social business creation in rural areas and address the issue of youth unemployment.<< Implementation >>Project activities are comprised with:* A 3 months online peer-to-peer learning sessions on rural entrepreneurship* A Train The Trainers Mobility on Rural Entrepreneurship* 4 Local activities – Pilot workshops - Mentoring in The Basque Country of Spain, Italy, Málaga - Spain and Romania* 1 International Seminar - Málaga – Spain* The creation of the e-Manual – A guide of the rural entrepreneurs in the new era.* The follow-up month and final dissemination event in the Basque Country.<< Results >>* Increased employability of young people in rural areas through the promotion of self-employment and business creation.* Increased awareness and motivation among young people in rural areas about the benefits of entrepreneurship, and the potential for creating their own businesses.* Creation of new and innovative curricula courses that can be tailored to the specific needs of the local community.* Creation of a supportive/collaborative environment for entrepreneurship in rural areas.
