Enhancing Roma youth work

"<< Objectives >>The project aims to establish a transnational network of youth and social workers working with the Roma community. With significant involvement of Roma youth, the project aims to promote capacity building, cooperation and exchange of different perspectives, experiences and approaches, and to formulate targeted solutions. This will enhance the capacity of Roma youth as well as youth and social workers to improve the situation.<< Implementation >>The project will consist of three main activities:At the regional/local level, partner organizations will conduct a survey among Roma youth to get an overview of their wishes and concerns.On a transnational level, youth and social workers will share the results of the survey and best practice solutions at a workshop.Afterwards, the partner organizations will publish the collected results and concrete recommendations in a manual.<< Results >>Participating organizations will strengthen their capacity and become more sensitive to the needs of Roma youth. Social and youth workers will benefit from the approaches and perspectives of their colleagues and develop new methods and tools, resulting in a manual with ""best practices"" and concrete recommendations for policy makers and stakeholders. In addition, a network of cooperation will be established - also with regard to future projects."
