"<< Background >>The project it was requested because, as a result of covid, hiring people with special needs (disabilities) decreased, as a consequence of the destruction of employment in traditional referent areas for those people such as service sector, being in some cases groups of social risk that were forced to interrupt their employments. There was the need to look for new market niches to improve insertions of people with special needs (disabilities). Some emerging areas that were motivated by changes in purchase, leisure and work, were, and nowadays still are, the Ecommerce sector, contact center and IT sector.In order to lead the way to these sectors, we had to work with people with special needs (""disabilities"") to improve their basic digital skills or provide them with specialized technical training in programming, but also with companies to raise awareness and break down barriers and stigmas that block the insertion to those people.I would like to emphasize that new way of work, such as teleworking, has being another opportunity to make new paths for people with reduced mobility or limiting disabilities.<< Objectives >>The general objective that was expected to be achieved and that has been achieved is that people with disabilities acquire or improve digital skills, as a way to achieve social and labor inclusion.The operational objectives have been:- To train 100 people with low digital skills in order to improve their knowledge and application of digital skills of 100% of all beneficiaries, and therefore, it improves the social, personal, and labor life of all people with special needs (disabilities) who receive this training.- To train 50 unemployed people with special needs (disabilities) in ICT and with a medium average in digital skills, in order to have the opportunity to access emerging market niches, favoring quality labor inclusion.- To know the labor situation of the business in Italy and Spain concerning the working integration of people with special needs (disabilities), detecting good practices in each country that can be exportable and that favor market niches in the technology sector, inclusive use of technologies in the selection processes and teleworking opportunities for national and international labor access.- The laboral insertion of people with disabilities in ordinary companies, favoring their autonomy and indepe<< Implementation >>The project has implemented all the activities that were indicated in the application:- BASIC DIGITAL SKILLS SCHOOL: (Digitalization Workshop for administrative procedures, Labor Digitalization Workshop, and Social and Family Digitalization Workshop), three sessions per workshop in each country. The overall outcome was 18 School- JAVA TRAINING: One workshop of 215 hours was organized in each country.AWARENESS-RAISING EVENTS TO COMPANIES: 3 workshops were held in each country, which brought the total to 6 workshops.BUSINESS NETWORK ANALYSISIt has been carried out, transversally in each country, by using questionnaires, visits, and meetings with companies.ANALYSIS OF THE RESULT AND MONITORING: The development of the project has been monitored by each of the participating entities, besides that coordination within the entities and, carrying out an analysis of the results through technical questionnaires of knowledge and satisfaction surveys and also a method of direct observation. EARNING ANNOUNCEMENT CONFERENCES: A total of 7 sessions have been held, aimed at companies, third-sector entities, people with disabilities, and public administration.<< Results >>- We have attended to 104 people with medium digital skills, helping them to improve their knowledge and application of digital competencies from the 100% of the beneficiaries and indirectly we have reached people, posted our material and videos on our platform. In addition, we have improved their personal, social, and work relationships.- We have trained 54 people in Java Programming. Forty-eight people have completed the training and 41 have passed it. Currently, 11 people are working, 2 people are doing internships and the rest of them are still in active research of work or training in other courses in our Foundation.- We have had an impact on 74 companies with our awareness days, promoting the issue of diversity and inclusion of people with disabilities in them.- A mapping of the labor market situation in both countries has been achieved."
