"<< Background >>Before joining the project CALL, all six partner schools identified their education needs through surveys, SWOT analysis, carbon footprint calculator (we came to the conclusion that if everyone lived like our pupils in average, we will need almost two Earths and as a solution for greenwashing, offset personal carbon footprint each of us would have to plant each year around 100 trees). All partners have identified the following needs at the local, regional, national and European level, which demonstrate the existence of a global problem.1. Insufficient information among students regarding the climate crisis and the need for sustainable development2. The existence of unjustified consumption of resources by young people (energy, raw materials)3. The existence of a high level of environmental pollution (chemical, physical and biological processes affecting flora, fauna, water, air and soil)4. The need for students to improve their real skills in the digital field (Romania is placed on first place at digital illiteracy), of communication in English so that they can meet the requirements of the open intercultural society.5.Insufficient use of formal and non-formal methods to support students from vulnerable groups in partner schools<< Objectives >>We established an indicator and a target to measure each objective:O1. Improving the ecological behavior at partnership level of communities in different geographical areas.Indicator1.The carbon footprint of each beneficiary and each school;Target1.To decrease by 10% for each beneficiary and school until the end of the project. We measure through the sameapplication https://earthgenwa.org/learning-resources/carbon-calculator.O2.Development of future-oriented skills and competences, in the field of digital technologies, green jobs.I2.The use of digital applications/platforms by the beneficiaries of the project;T2.To increase with 3 applications. We measure through application/platform specific monitoring sections.O3.Developing and implementation of outward mindsetI3.The percentage of children who are victims of bullying from the school communities in the projectT3.To decrease by 10%. We measure by applying questionnaires at the beginning and at the end of the projectO4.The development of English language skills, intercultural identity and self-confidenceI4.The percentage of students who have improved their skillsT4.To increase by 10%. We measure by applying questionnaires at the beginning and at the end of the project<< Implementation >>Upcycling and sustainable cosmetics and household cleaners - Carbon Dioxide Emissions Experiment; - Conference: Media Literacy, Consumerism - upcyling workshops; - Carbon footprint calculator - Thematic excursion - Debate: chemical versus natural cleaners - Study visit - Seminar about rare fishing technique (daliania) - Workshops - Manufacture at school ecological cosmetics and cleaning products from used oils and oil residue and healthy sources (sodium bicarbonate, salt, vinegar etc.) - Thematic excursionEcophobia and green energy - workshop “My ecological footprint“ - Conference “Green energy and its usage in my country”; - documentary visit and workshops on the biggest wind farm among the three Baltic countries - Pagegiai wind farm; - workshop: Making an eco house; - fieldwork on green city Taurage - workshop about Ecophobia - drama performance ”Ecophobia” Organic food and farming; - Conferences: ”Real nutrition” and ”3Rs for the new generation - Reduce, reuse, recycle”Thematic visit –Ca' de Alemanni Organic Farming and Martino Rossi, a cereal factory careful to the soil- workshops- local sustainable food for community and environment<< Results >>We collected activities for ”Eco-friendly outdoor activities"" and recipes for the book ""Rediscoverthe past for a sustainable future"".We co-created the school CALL webpage, where we posted all our results obtained in the learning and evaluation activitiesEach partner school created an eco-club for green activities. On the eTwinning platform we uploaded our results and different relevant pictures from activities. On emaze we made a virtual exhibition with suggestive pictures from our upcycling workshops. The activities as: conferences, seminars, workshops etc. provided information and implement solutions for upcycling and obtaining products manufactured by different recycling methods, reducing ecophobia, carbon footprint, carried out leaded to positive effects on all direct or indirect beneficiaries also through immeasurable results: Increasing the awareness, confidence, motivation of European citizenship; Consolidation of cultural identity; developing ICT skills; outdoor solutions; improving the climate in partner schools; making international connections; improved our outward mindset, inner readiness and our understanding about inclusion, developing knowledge and skills on sustainable energy, on green consumption and green jobs"
