Acting for Democracy: Defending European Values with Theatre and Activism

<< Objectives >>- Increasing partners' work quality and practices, by equipping youth workers with project topic-related skills and competences- Foster youth-led Initiatives: Facilitate the creation and implementation of at least four youth-led projects that enable change, promote active citizenship and democratic engagement in local communities- Promote cross-cultural collaboration via strengthening international cooperation and exchange between youth workers and young people from Portugal and Serbia<< Implementation >>We are going to implement the following activities:- Kick off meeting (2 days, online)- Study visit: Common values & Participation (4 days, in Aveiro)- Training: Theatre for Civic Engagement (4 days, in Zrenjanin)- Training: Global mindset & Local Activism in the context of EU priorities (4 days, in Aveiro)- Mid term meeting (1-2 days, online)- Youth led activities (in Aveiro & in Zrenjanin)- Evaluation meeting (2 days, in Zrenjanin)Besides monthly meetings will happen each month<< Results >>- Improved skills and knowledge among min. 14 youth workers who will acquire new methodologies and tools for promoting democratic values and civic engagement- Successfully mentored and implemented youth-led projects, involving between 10 and 20 youngsters from both organisations- Strengthened international network & best practices sharing, not only in consortium, but also with associated partners, resulting in future cooperation.- Comprehensive evaluation & dissemination, useful for peers.
