<< Objectives >>This project highlights the importance of pollinating insects through an interdisciplinary approach by developing open educational resources (OERs) for primary and middle schools in Norway, Netherlands, and Greece. The OERs will be locally adapted to each country, reflecting national environments, species composition, and school curricula. These adaptations will ensure that the resources are relevant and practical while also making them easily expandable for use across Europe in future projects.<< Implementation >>The project will focus on translating and adapting existing open educational resources (OERs) and developing new OERs for middle school. Translations will ensure accessibility, while adaptations align materials with national curricula and environmental contexts.New middle school content will be created based on teacher feedback and curriculum needs. Workshops and close collaboration with educators will help design engaging and practical resources that are easy to implement in classrooms.<< Results >>The OERs will be an intuitive and easy-to-use resource for teachers, implemented in schools across Norway, the Netherlands, and Greece. They will provide an engaging and accessible way to teach about pollinators, helping schools develop a deeper understanding of their importance. Students will gain hands-on learning experiences, fostering curiosity and environmental awareness. The project also lays a foundation for expanding the use of these resources across Europe in the future.
