<< Background >>There is a lot of talk at the moment about Europe, about the legitimacy of the EU, its integrity and its contribution to European society as a whole. The diversity of its regions, its national and religious diversity, its economic differences, its spectrum of opinion, its growing nationalism and anti-systemism seem to signal at first sight that it is impossible to make it work. The excellent experiences and, above all, the happy children from previous Erasmus projects have made us confident that we will continue with these projects. The pupils' continued interest in working on the project tasks is a positive impulse for us. A significant motivation was to carry out a project where pupils who are waiting for their opportunity will work together on an international level. They are the ones who will carry the flag of Europe in the future as a unique region and a model of peaceful coexistence. This project has confirmed the sense of the European dimension of education and the idea of international cooperation and has improved the pupils' level of linguistic and cultural content. We wanted to show the pupils the importance of knowing the past, tradition and our roots.<< Objectives >>We wanted to achieve learning through project-based activities that allowed pupils to seek explanations for a particular question andto come to their own conclusion. We wanted to teach pupils to work in an international team on a common project and thus develop pupils' sociological literacy. We wanted to get them to use common activities and workshops to learn about life in the environment of other cultures in the partner countries and then compare and analyse their findings together. Pupils learned to work in the field, outside the classroom - through workshops they built up a picture of life and cultural backgrounds in the partner countries. Partners from different cultural, religious, social and economic backgrounds worked in the project. Each of them presented their cultural heritage with pride and enthusiasm. And that was our goal. In modern times, with the younger generation to return to their roots. This goal has been fulfilled with complete satisfaction, because all the activities have been realized to our satisfaction. The tasks of the project were mastered by each of the project partners and they prepared valuable workshops, implemented during the joint mobilities. << Implementation >>All activities were in the spirit of joint peer mobility. We organised 4 international meetings with all partners. We started in Slovakia with the coordinator in September 2022, continued in Norway and Cyprus in 2023 and finished the mobility in April 2024. 153 students and 27 teachers participated in the mobility activities in total.
