<< Objectives >>The project aims at supporting SEN students in developing healthy self-confidence through an innovative digital game. It will be designed by University students, teachers and educators working with SEN students, and game developers. A prototype will then be tested by SEN students and their feedback incorporated in the fine tuning. Our project links different target groups and generations in the international, social sector and extends their knowledge in scientific and practical matters.<< Implementation >>We start with a research and preparations activity, where we ensure our game’s basis on the current scientific findings concerning the development of self-confidence. A game development camp follows, where the consortium comes together with university students to brainstorm ideas to generate a prototype game. Afterwards, the prototype will be programmed and tested in different SEN student’s classes. Lastly, we’ll gather the last feedback and finalize a web-based version of the game.<< Results >>Our project results in a new, playful digital tool to boost SEN student’s self-confidence. Plus, the project broadens the horizons of the participants, giving them not only scientific insights, but also different ways of developing innovative methods. We expect to tighten the European bond with our participants and facilitate a fruitful exchange of ideas that motivates everyone to keep working towards our common goal, supporting SEN students at a larger capacity than in their school education.
