<< Background >>Education and the right to it was often taken for granted—until it was revoked. Education was a critical instrument for ensuring the independence and dignity of all migrants, as it enabled them to properly integrate into their new countries. However, this legitimate aspiration encountered hurdles on the ground. This project was developed after an Internal Needs Analysis conducted by the coordinator, during which the employees identified a new flow of incoming refugees and migrants with different needs, backgrounds, and educational levels.-Lack of curricula that promoted educational inclusion for learners with an immigrant background with very low or no educational background. -Insufficient supply of educational materials and tools for adult trainers to use in their lessons with the aforementioned target group.-Immigrants and refugees with limited or no educational background had a low awareness of the importance of basic skills and literacy to adapt to their new living circumstances.-Acknowledged the absence of a European/national strategy and educational resources for immigrants with limited or no formal education.<< Objectives >>OBJ1: to create a complete educational toolkit, including a structured training course for refugees with very limited or noformal educational skills, competencies, and experience, in order to help them adapt to the national/European educational systemOBJ2: to provide high-quality learning opportunities, adapted to the learning needs of the target group, but also a e learning tool, which will assist adult education centers and other entities working towards the integration of refugees and migrantsOBJ3: to design a guidance tool for recently accepted immigrants in order to help them choose the right educational pathway and in time their professional routeOBJ4: Make migrants and refugees able to manage anxiety and stress caused by the situations they have had to face in terms of education and improve their cultural adaptation by deconstructing the barriers they have to face.OBJ5: Disseminate the results of this training to other stakeholders (including institutions, public and private training centers and other) that could benefit this output.<< Implementation >>TPMs 1st TPM in Aukra, Norway2nd TPM in Cordoba, Spain3rd TPM in Nicosia, Cyprus 4th TPM in Athens, Greece Multiplier Events One Multiplier Event was implemented in each partner country Needs Analysis Focus Groups One Focus Group was implemented in each partner country Needs Analysis Interviews One set of Needs Analysis Interviews was implemented in each partner country Pilot Testing One Pilot Testing Session was implemented in each partner country towards the end of the project.
