"<< Background >>The main objective of our project is to create a hairdressing competition between our two schools, in order to connect students from different backgrounds, cultures and social levels. We responded to different needs: combating geographical isolation and participation of rural areas, digital skills and competences and contributing to innovation in vocational education and training. We also responded to two priorities of the Erasmus + program: ""Inclusion and diversity"" and ""Participation in democratic life, common values and civic engagement"".<< Objectives >>The students collaborated online, using not only their digital skills but also their creativity and showcasing their professional training. This project is an opportunity to create an international hairdressing competition and promote European civic engagement.<< Implementation >>We created six activities:1. Project implementation and creation2. Creation of a recognizable logo in the second activity.3. First round of the hairdressing competition in Poland4. Second round of the virtual hairdressing competition5. Finals of the hairdressing competition in France and production of a live professional hairdressing show.In activities 3 to 5, a majority of our students traveled abroad for the first time, discovering a new country, with new practices and cultures. This allowed us to share techniques and trends in hairdressing and organic cosmetic products. This aligns with our chosen priority of teaching and professional training.6. finalization of the project<< Results >>We created a recognizable logo that met our criteria. We held a three-round international hairdressing competition. The final featured a hairdressing show featuring students from our two schools, and the winning hairstyles from the project were presented live in front of 350 people at the Rex cinema in Sarlat. We also created a video clip chronicling the entire project, as well as a photographic exhibition (approximately 15 framed prints) of the project's highlights at our French school."
