Support for the CG on Global Policy Dialogue – GLOBAL 2030

The project aims to support the mandate given by the ministers of higher education in EHEA in the Tirana Communique to ‘continue to develop and strengthen dialogue and collaboration with macro regions on various levels and with appropriate interlocutors’. The project consortium combines the strength of national authorities, higher education stakeholders, recognition authorities, specialised organisations working in higher education and international organisations to boost strategic dialogue between the EHEA and other macro-regions of the world, promoting an alignment of tools and practices and fosters peer learning.The project will support the activities of the Coordination Group on Global Policy Dialogue during 2025-2028, the organisation of the Bologna Policy Forum 2027 and the strategic dialogue between EHEA and other macro-regions through dedicated activities. By stronger engagement with global partners, the project will improve joint efforts in contributing to global shared targets, including achieving sustainable development goals and inclusive access to quality higher education, and remove barriers in international cooperation of higher education institutions, thus supporting mobility of student and staff. The project will propose new avenues for strengthening transnational cooperation post-2030, feeding into the work of the Task Force on the Future of Bologna, engage the other working structures of the BFUG to promote a global dimension of their work, organise webinars with wider stakeholders in the macro-regions to promote the collaborative and inclusive processes valued by the Bologna Process, and collect evidence on good practices in other macro-regions for topics deemed a priority in the Bologna Policy Forum Statement (quality assurance, recognition, digitalisation) in order to feed into the policy development within EHEA.
