Independent people 2.0

<< Objectives >>Independent people 2.0 is a strategic partnership who started with the previous Erasmus+ KA2 project Independent people aiming at increasing quality, innovation and recognition of youth work. The main objective are that youth workers learn, develop and increase quality of Portable Educational Escape Rooms (PEERs) as an innovative method to strengthen young people’s soft skills and employability skills. The target groups are youth workers and disadvantaged young people.<< Implementation >>Independent people 2.0 will train youth workers from the four participating organisations on how to create and use PEERs. The project will use a cocreation process involving young people for the target group. The method and the results will be evaluated and disseminated by cascading the method by training other youth workers in PEERs and making them easy accessible in the activity bank on the project website https://independentpeople.site/wp/.<< Results >>The main results of the project will be:-32 youth work practitioners trained in the effective use of PEERs-24 young people involved in the codesign, implementation, and evaluation of PEERs.-8 PEERs created and the details/operating instructions uploaded to the Independent People website (Activity Bank) as a resource for any youth work practitioner to access.-24 youth workers (additional to those directly involved in the project) trained in the use of the PEERs method.
